NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

(with a passion for technology and video)

Divitel is regarded as a Center of Excellence for professional, digital video systems. As a solutions provider and systems integrator Divitel supplies equipment and systems for the digital transmission of video, audio and data signals. (Digital Video Broadcasting - DVB - and IP systems, platforms and RF distribution systems). Divitel manage video platforms, which are providing more than 200 million viewers on a day-to-day basis. Our customers include cable companies, satellite and telecom operators and broadcasters (radio and television) at home and abroad.

We are looking for ICT professionals with a good network and a knowledge of IP who want to develop into the position of Engineer at Divitel.

In this role you will advise clients of Divitel on technical possibilities and solutions. Together with them you analyse the technology and set up procedures with regard to hardware, software or functional systems.

From a practical point of view, you deal with the operational problems of the customers and solve them after checking. You make high-quality drawings for complex solutions and also install and configure the hardware. You also test new products in Divitel's own lab.

Job requirements

You have a Middle/High Technical School-level skills (electrical engineering or computer science) and have a good analytical mind.

Furthermore, you have theoretical and practical knowledge of computer and telecommunications networks, IP, servers, routers and switches, unicast and multicast techniques. Knowledge of Windows and Linux is obvious.

About 2 years direct, progressive hands-on network experience. You have the ability to pick up new technologies quickly and integrate them into a network.
