ANGA workshop Quality by Divitel
March 2010. ANGA, the German representative of 120 companies related to the German broadband business, invited Divitel to be one of its lecturers at their workshop in Frankfurt, Germany on March 9th.
Another ANGA workshop has been held in Frankfurt; main topic: ‘Quality management in cable networks’. Together with other lecturers like WISI Communications, Cisco, Redesign, TNO and others, Divitel was asked to provide its expertise to ANGA members.
‘Quality criteria for the delivery of a complex digital TV platform’
Klaas-Pieter Looren de Jong, esteemed Consultant at Divitel, provided the audience a glimpse of this complex quality matter.
Thanks to the adding of different techniques (such as DVB, IP, Mpeg-2, Mpeg-4 etc.) and the adding of management/billing/quality control modules and interactivity, the delivery of a digital platform requires a different approach. This different approach not only covers technical requirements, but focuses on quality tools for marketing communication aspects as well.
In short: a highly actual topic that shows the difference between analogue and digital platform delivery!
