Divitel enters German market
Dirk Jaeger appointed as CTO
November 17th 2010, Divitel, an independent systems integrator and digital video solutions provider from the Netherlands, announces the establishment of a new office in Hannover, Germany. This next step of expansion marks Divitel’s drive to accelerate the growth and presence of its digital video solutions in the German speaking marketplace.
Dirk Jaeger and Bart Brusse will head the German team. Jaeger will assume his role as Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) of the new office alongside his position as Chief Technological Officer (CTO) of Divitel. Jaeger was Senior Researcher at the Technical University of Braunschweig; the well-known DVB Centre of Excellence. Between January 1997 and December 2007, he was assuming the position of Technical Director at EuroCableLabs, the European Cable Communications Association’s Centre of Competence for Broadband Technologies.

Bart Brusse has joined Divitel as Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) of the German office and will be responsible for marketing and new business development. Brusse has a long track record in digital media consultancy. He worked for Casema between 1992 – 2000 as Head of Strategy & Business Development.
The opening of the German office comes at the time when Divitel has won the Plug&Work prize in the Hannover Impuls programme; an EU-initiative awarding innovation in technical developments.
